A people-search, background-check, reverse-phone, and address-lookup site exposing public records including arrest, court, and property data.

GoLookUp's particular risk is the surfacing of information most people do not realize is publicly available. A single search reveals your home address, the names of your family members, and your approximate age. All without any verification of who is searching, or why.

What data GoLookUp has on you

A GoLookUp profile can include a surprisingly detailed picture of your life. Here is what they typically display:

• full name
• age/DOB
• addresses, often going back 10 to 20 years
• phone numbers, landline and mobile, sourced from commercial providers and public records
• email addresses, often going back 10 to 20 years
• relatives/associates, family members and known associates, often with links to their profiles
• criminal/arrest records, arrests, convictions, and court filings where available
• marriage/divorce records
• property records, ownership, estimated value, and neighborhood data

Not every profile contains all categories. Depth depends on what public records exist in your jurisdiction and how much commercial data has been linked to your identity. For most adults with any public record history, GoLookUp has enough to paint a detailed picture.

How to opt out of GoLookUp: step by step

1. Go to golookup.com/support/optout (or footer 'Opt Out')
2. Fill in the form fields (name, phone, email, address); some guides advise omitting DOB as sensitive data
3. Under Type of Request select 'Delete My Information'
4. Complete the CAPTCHA and click Submit

How long does GoLookUp removal take?

After you complete the opt-out, GoLookUp typically processes removals within 7 days.

The catch: your data comes back

The most important thing to understand about GoLookUp removal: it is temporary.

GoLookUp refreshes records regularly; info can reappear, requiring a repeat opt-out.

Data can return after an opt-out if the broker later ingests a new record. Whether and when that happens varies by company and source. Periodic checks can catch re-listings; a monitoring service can re-file when supported.

What GoLookUp's opt-out does not cover

Search every angle. Do not just search by name. Try phone number and email too. You may have more than one listing.
