What data Kaspr has on you

Kaspr compiles professional contact data that sales teams, recruiters, and marketers buy access to. Here is what a typical profile includes:

• full name
• work email, personal and work where available
• personal email, personal and work where available
• mobile/direct dial phone, landline and mobile, sourced from commercial providers and public records
• job title
• employer
• LinkedIn URL
• location

Not every profile contains all categories. Depth depends on what public records exist in your jurisdiction and how much commercial data has been linked to your identity. For most adults with any public record history, Kaspr has enough to paint a detailed picture.

How to opt out of Kaspr: step by step

1. Go to kaspr.privacy.saymine.io/kaspr and select 'Delete my data'
2. Enter your contact details and email; check the authentication box and click 'Submit'
3. Open the verification email and click the link, then 'Confirm my email address'
4. You'll get a confirmation that your data was removed
5. Alternatively email privacy@kaspr.io with subject 'Opt-out Kaspr'

How long does Kaspr removal take?

After you complete the opt-out, Kaspr typically processes removals as soon as possible after verification. By broker standards, that is relatively fast. Many sites take 7 to 45 days.

The catch: your data comes back

The most important thing to understand about Kaspr removal: it is temporary.

After opt-out, all Kaspr users who saved your data are notified and asked to remove it; your data won't show in the extension/dashboard. Because Kaspr is crowdsourced from extension users enriching LinkedIn profiles, re-collection is possible. Data may also reside in parent Cognism systems.

This is not unique to Kaspr. Every data broker works this way. Your opt-out removes one listing. It does not stop the data pipeline. Staying off the site means repeating the process every few months yourself, or using a service that catches re-listings and re-files them automatically.

What Kaspr's opt-out does not cover

• Multiple profiles may exist. If you have lived in multiple states, changed your name, or have multiple phone numbers, Kaspr may have built separate profiles for each variation. Search and opt out of each.

Use a dedicated email. Use an alias or a separate account for removal requests. Keeps your primary inbox out of Kaspr's system and keeps confirmation emails organized.

Search every angle. Do not just search by name. Try phone number and email too. You may have more than one listing.

Document the request. Screenshot the confirmation page and save the confirmation email. Useful if you ever need to prove you requested removal.
