How to opt out of UpLead: step by step

1. Go to uplead.com/opt-out/ (or the footer 'Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information' link)
2. Enter your full name, email address, and phone number
3. Click 'Remove My Information'
4. Alternatively email privacy@uplead.com with full name, email, and phone number

How long does UpLead removal take?

After you complete the opt-out, UpLead typically processes removals within 30 days.

The catch: your data comes back

The most important thing to understand about UpLead removal: it is temporary.

UpLead may re-collect your data if you keep using the service or if it remains publicly available; periodic re-checks recommended. UpLead may request additional information to verify your identity case-by-case.

Data can return after an opt-out if the broker later ingests a new record. Whether and when that happens varies by company and source. Periodic checks can catch re-listings; a monitoring service can re-file when supported.

Search every angle. Do not just search by name. Try phone number and email too. You may have more than one listing.
